Split Workbook
Split Excel into multiple files by column value
Create a separate file for each region, department or account. Choose your column, review every group and its row count, then download the outputs together.
Open Split WorkbookChoose a column
Open XLSX or CSV, choose a worksheet and split column, and set the number of title/header rows to repeat. Exact values create one group each; text patterns divide records into matching and other groups.
Check every group
Preview group counts, safe unique output names and row reconciliation before spending tokens. Blank keys stay in Unassigned unless you explicitly exclude them; excluded rows remain visible in the total.
Download the result
Create a ZIP of XLSX files, or one XLSX with a sheet per group. Grouping exports the selected worksheet's values, including saved formula results, without formulas, formatting or charts. Archive selected rows remains available as a separate preservation-based workflow.
Does it automatically export one file per region?
Yes. Choose Split by column value, select Region, preview the groups, and create a ZIP of separate XLSX files. Headers repeat in each file. Split an Excel Sheet Into Multiple Files Based on a Column Value.
Can I use an archive sheet instead?
Yes. Choose an archive sheet in a new copy, or separate active and archive workbooks. Neither overwrites the original.
What does a split cost?
Split Workbook uses 5 tokens for a completed local action. A verified account receives 200 starting tokens once; the workflow shows the cost before confirmation. All groups in the reviewed split are included.
