Match & Merge

Merge Excel sheets by a matching column

Add customer details, prices or other fields from a second sheet using Customer ID, email, SKU or another value both sheets share.

Open Match & Merge

Two tables, one shared value

Choose the sheet whose rows you want to keep. Select another tab or a second XLSX or CSV file as your reference. Pick the matching columns and only the fields you need to bring over.

Review the match

Review missing IDs, blank keys and duplicate source IDs. Blank keys do not match other blanks. Optional space and case rules do not rewrite original IDs. Choose first or last explicitly when source IDs repeat.

What the result keeps

Destination rows remain; unmatched rows have blank new fields. Incoming fields append as values and supported number formats. Supported original workbook features remain, but table and chart ranges do not expand automatically. Unsupported package changes are refused.

Does merging compare every difference?

Matching adds fields by a shared key. Compare Files creates a separate report of added, absent and changed records. Compare Two Lists in Excel: What's Missing, What's New, and What Changed.

What if my lookup returns #N/A?

Check missing keys, spaces and mismatched value types before bringing columns across. Repeated source IDs need an explicit matching rule. VLOOKUP Not Working? Why You Get #N/A — and How to See the Real Reason.

What does merging cost?

Match & Merge uses 10 tokens for a completed local action. A verified account receives 200 starting tokens once; the workflow shows the cost before confirmation.
